The best moisturizer for oily skin will provide moisture without clogging pores. It will contain beneficial ingredients to fight bacteria growth.
Alcohol and detergents strip the skin of natural moisturizers and actually INCREASE sebum (oil) production. Alcohol dries and irritates skin too much to be beneficial.
Also make certain there is no beeswax in the best moisturizer for oily skin as it will block pores.
Mineral oils, paraffin, petrolatum all create a nasty film over the skin and block pores too. Think of applying a film of plastic over your face. It can't breathe. Products that contain these ingredients can also cause unwanted bacteria build up. Nobody needs that!
The best moisturizer for oily skin will have mild anti-bacterial properties from safe and natural sources. Geranium for instance is great for our skin!
Yes, that very common garden plant is not only beautiful and fragrant, but wonderful for our skin.
Thistle oil is wonderful for unclogging congested skin, reducing pores, and adding the perfect type of moisture.

Start with a mild, good for your skin cleanser. I use and recommend a Camellia & Rose cleanser with a muslin or linen cloth to gently exfoliate the skin. DO NOT SCRUB! Be gentle. If you are a tween or teen I recommend this line just for girls. It may also be beneficial to cleanse in the morning, and use the best moisturizer for oily skin. Then in the evening before bed, cleanse again but don't apply the moisturizer. This allows your skin to breathe more and for the natural oil production you are producing to do its job.
It is also important to eat good for you food. Organic food is your best option. Having oily skin isn't so bad once you start using the right products. Good luck in which ever products you choose. Just read the labels and look for the culprits listed above and keep them off your face and body.
If you wear makeup to cover up your oily complexion make sure it is free from poor clogging compounds.
